Job Summary
Territory Manager (Ophthalmology)
Salary:basic car/car allowance bonus up to 20000
Location: Remote covering London North London Oxford Cambridge Colchester Essex area
About the Role
Our client is seeking an ambitious Territory Manager to cover the London region and surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity to represent a respected surgical product portfolio across ophthalmology and dermatology working with both NHS and private sector healthcare providers.
You will play a key role in developing strong customer relationships driving territory sales growth and ensuring clinical teams are equipped with the right surgical tools at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow sales within your defined territory building long-lasting partnerships with healthcare providers.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities tailoring solutions to customer needs.
- Execute key account strategies at a local level in line with company sales direction.
- Provide ongoing support product training and education to customers.
- Maintain accurate CRM records ensuring GDPR compliance.
- Deliver monthly sales and activity reports including pipeline forecasts.
- Work collaboratively across internal teams to uphold high standards of service and delivery.
What Were Looking For
- Degree-level education (life sciences or business preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years sales experience within theatres clinics or medical settings.
- Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver sales growth.
- Ophthalmology experience highly desirable; dermatology or other medical sector backgrounds will also be considered.
- Strong understanding of NHS and private sector sales cycles.
- Commercially astute with excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Confident in Microsoft Office applications (Excel Word PowerPoint).
