As a Manager in our Melbourne CFO Advisory team youll play a vital role in optimising Finance functions by providing a range of advisory services to solve problems whilst balancing commercial insight and risk management driving high-quality outcomes for our clients.

What youll do:

  • Finance function modernisation: Assisting the shift from transaction processing to data led insights for trusted decision making

  • Process Optimisation: Process modernisation activity analysis risk and control design and continuous monitoring

  • Finance System Implementation Support: Business Case chart of accounts design program management control design/assurance

  • Cost optimisation: Determining operating model and commercial benefits to fund modernisation programs

  • Transactional Change: Considering pre or post deal support from governance accounting integration and synergy realisation

What were looking for:

  • At least 5 years of experience in finance accounting external audit or a related field

  • Bachelor or equivalent degree

  • CA qualification (or equivalent)

  • Excellent skills in leading project teams to deliver finance projects or internal improvement activities

  • Experience in risk & controls process optimisation financial reporting technical accounting management accounting or budgeting

  • Critical analytical skills including the ability to identify and provide meaningful insights to clients.

  • Strong technical accounting skills with experience in applying accounting standards

  • Strong attention to detail to deliver high quality reports and presentations to clients maintaining PwC Risk & Quality guidelines and frameworks
