Job Description:

Minimum experience: strong preference given to students who have completed at least 3 years of college (senior or above preferred) and involved in university/extracurricular organization/activity. Previous work experience (internship summer job etc.) where they developed teamwork collaboration and communication skills preferred.

Qualifications

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook PowerPoint Excel etc.)
  • Strong work ethic reliability and desire to learn.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic & collaborative environment.
  • Great organizational and time management skills.

Team Overview:

The IWMS Digital Platform Strategy & Standards Center of Excellence works to identify and communicate standards that enable teams to deliver consistent and accessible experiences. We also create communities where our clients learn advocate and influence our platform strategy. Our CoE is comprised on four pillars: Accessibility Client Engagement Design Standards & Design System.

Responsibilities:

  • The co-op will be responsible for impactful projects that support each of our pillars leaning in to help on initiatives based on overall CoE priorities.
  • This person will help to craft communication to senior leadership with updates on project statuses.
  • They will also help us continue to establish our brand as a CoE assisting with the visuals and how we tell our story.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic program management co-op to join our team in Boston. They will have a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams working across the organization.

This person will support our Center of Excellences 4 pillars (focus areas):

  • Accessibility: creating an inclusive environment that empowers individuals with disabilities by ensuring our products services and policies enable full participation in the digital world. We are committed to exceeding industry standards raising awareness and empowering all users to achieve their full potential.
  • Client Engagement: creating collaborative forums where clients can influence the IWMS technology strategy by advocating for their firms while sharing insights into business and technology challenges.
  • Design Standards: provides a framework that supports and empowersdesigners to confidently create consistent excellentproducts and experiences for users.
  • Design System: provides comprehensive documentation guidance consultation and components to efficiently and consistently deliver scalable and accessible user interfaces.

How we will provide support learning:

  • Establish weekly check-ins to review the weeks priorities check-in on progress and create opportunities to provide direction.
  • Identify Fidelity associates with whom the co-op can connect with to learn more about our organization/priorities/deliverables/career paths.
  • Create capacity for individual learning and exploration outside of CoE.
  • Include the co-op in team meetings for visibility & exposure to larger team initiatives.
  • Provide a range of types of work to allow the co-op to gain experience on a variety of projects.

Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
