Instructional Assistant Position Announcement

Foothills Elementary School is seeking an instructional assistant.

This part-time position is for 29 hours/week.

Education Certification and Related Work Experience:

High School Diploma (2 years college preferred)
Meets highly qualified requirements for classified staff

Qualities of a Desired Candidate Include:

Work with students under the supervision of administration and special and regular education teachers.
Demonstrate an aptitude and flexibility to work with multiple schedules and student needs.
Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.
Tend to diapering and personal care needs of students
Maintain student records and confidentiality
Work closely with supervising teacher to provide support to students in the classroom as well as address individual needs in an inclusionary setting
Commitment to student achievement and growth.
Commitment and loyalty to the school and position.
Other responsibilities as assigned by administration including flexibility in daily schedule.
Possess honesty integrity and professionalism
