About the role
We are looking for a Structural Engineer to guide us through the process of constructing new support structures on site and providing expert advice and input for quotes.
As Structural Engineer you will be part of our Engineering team of 10 persons in Denmark (Copenhagen) and the global structural team of 2-3- another structural engineers.
Due to the wide scope of tasks you will cooperate with project managers and other colleagues in our Valby and Chennai offices as well as with contractors on site. You can look forward to a challenging position where your independent viewpoints and trained eye will be much appreciated. As the job involves site visits and supervision around the world you can anticipate one-week travels 2 or 3 times a year.

Airtech has 140 employees across 9 countries. Our biggest groups are in Copenhagen (Denmark) and Chennai (India).
Your responsibilities
- the entire strength calculations of projects both green field and brown field
- structural designs and calculations for filter casing ducts and their supports
- accumulation and sharing of knowledge to keep us ahead
- development of our products and tools to support our growing business
What you bring
- An Engineering degree with focus on structural design and calculation in primary steel and to some extent in concrete
- Experience from bigger plant projects and you have worked with structural calculations in different counties/codes including earthquake zones
- Knowledge about materials and weldings both theoretical and practical
- You know finite element programmes such as STAAD Pro and other calculation tools like MathCAD IdeaStatica and Excel
- Your work methods are structured your analytical skills above average and you are motivated by delivering accurate results above anything else
- Curious by heart wanting to be part of a smaller team with larger variety of tasks.
- Service-minded team player and the ability to communicate easily with colleagues at all levels.
- Our draftsmen work with tools such as AutoCAD SolidWorks and Tekla so experience with these will be an asset
