Hastings Deering is on the hunt for a Service Advisor to join our team in Mt Isa. This is a Permanent Full Time Monday to Friday role working closely with our Operations team.
As a Service Advisor you will:
Deliver high-quality cost-effective service with nil customer complaints.
Maintain clear regular communication with customers on quotes job progress and invoicing.
Ensure accurate job closure with correct parts labour and misc. items for invoicing.
Monitor job quality and efficiency.
Accurately code all documentation in Microsoft AX.
Verify daily labour hours investigate discrepancies and support workflow efficiency.
Support scheduling labour allocation and segment closure with the Leading Hand.
Assist in preparing accurate repair estimates and ensure timely customer delivery via AX.
Provide accurate invoicing forecasts.
Collaborate with Leading Hand and Technicians on job scope and deliverables.

About You
A successful teammate will have experience in:
Hold a relevant Trade Qualification
Proven and demonstrated experience working within a Frontline service department within the heavy mining and construction industries.
Sound computing skills including good working knowledge of Microsoft AX and Power BI systems.
In-depth knowledge of Caterpillar machinery and a knowledge of products and services.
Be able to maintain a high level of workplace health and safety.
High developed verbal and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer experience.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver on expectations.
