Job Description:

Reporting to the SVP Marketing the Sr. Director of Global Communications and Media relations is responsible for advancing the companys brand and reputation among customers media employees investors and other stakeholders. The global leader drives all aspects of internal and external communications & strategies including strategic brand campaigns media relations issues/crisis management and organic social. This position requires a high degree of collaboration with diverse cross-functional teams and executives to support corporate goals.

Responsibilities:

oDevelop an innovative communications strategy to establish and advance the Anomali brand globally.

oOversee lead and build a talented global Communications team encompassing both internal and external areas of expertise.

oDrive strategy for CEO communications with externally facing media channels that builds the companys reputation with key stakeholders

oServe as a key business partner to the executive staff in all facets of communications and branding.

oManage and grow our press program to influence key press bloggers and influencers related to security

oBring forward new ideas and creative ways to boost executive media activity to support business goals.

oDevelop press releases byline articles and blogs manage a rapid response team the Anomali speakers bureau awards submissions and make our customers security Rock Stars for their innovative approaches to using Anomali

oManage a customer marketing team to help drive references for the Anomali sales team and for external marketing activities

oLead or support Customer Advocacy and implement a Customer Advocacy Board

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

oExperience in communications and managing public relations agencies in North American and globally.

oExperience driving Tier 1 media visibility including TV and respected publications

oBA/BS in marketing communications journalism or a related discipline

o15 years working at a PR agency and in-house as a communications and/or customer marketing lead at a cybersecurity company

oPrior experience creating or managing customer advocacy programs and/or Customer Advisory Board

oExcellent verbal written and presentation skills

oEnergy and work ethic required to enthusiastically tackle and achieve huge goals and objectives

oDeep understanding of the security industry

oPublic company experience a plus
