Job Description
The Richmond Behavioral Health Authority is seeking a ProgramSupervisor to join the EHR team. The incumbent is responsible for overseeing the daily operations maintenance and optimization of the Electronic Health Records system. This role ensures the integrity security and accessibility of patient data while supporting clinical and administrative staff in effective EHR utilization. Work is performed under the limited supervision of Program Manager II.
Essential Functions:
-Assists in the management and oversight of the EHR
-Ensure client data is accurate complete and compliant with legal standards
-Implement and enforce data privacy protocols in line with HIPAA and other regulations
- Manage the training of clinical and administrative staff on EHR usage and best practices
- Oversee the development and maintenance of training materials for onboarding and ongoing education
- Supervise HER Help Desk and EHR trainer
-Provide advance troubleshooting support and resolve user issues promptly
- Lead or assist in the rollout of new EHR features or modules
- Redesign workflows to align with system capabilities and clinical needs
- Monitor user adoption and gather feedback for continuous improvement
-Participate in strategic planning for future EHR enhancements
