Job Description

-As advised by teacher assist students individually and in groups with social behavioral and education needs.-Perform instructional and non-instructional duties in a self-contained resource room or regular education classroom.-Performs all duties associated with meeting the medical hygienic physical and global needs of the children. Including but not limited to: assisting school nurses with diaper changing and toileting related medical and/or hygiene needs and transporting non-ambulatory students in wheelchairs within the school building and outside the school building assisting students during recess and other school related out of building activities and to and from transportation vehicles. -Maintains the same level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information concerning students as required by the teacher.-Other duties assigned by the teacher or administrator including but not limited to lunch/recess duty
