Your Role:
- Research and identify grant opportunities across foundations corporations and government sources.

Requirements


  • Proven experience in researching writing and securing grants for nonprofits (minimum 23 years preferred).
  • Demonstrated track record of successful grant awards particularly from foundations corporations or government agencies.
  • Excellent written communication and storytelling skills with the ability to craft compelling persuasive proposals.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to identify funding opportunities and align them with organizational needs.
  • Ability to work independently manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with standard office software (Word Excel Google Workspace) and familiarity with grant databases (e.g. Foundation Directory Online ).
  • Commitment to the mission of providing healthcare to underserved communities.

Preferred:

  • Experience writing grants in the healthcare dental or social services sectors.
  • Familiarity with outcome measurement and program evaluation translating data into strong narrative.
  • Knowledge of federal state and foundation grant processes compliance and reporting.
  • Bachelors degree in English Communications Public Administration Nonprofit Management or related field (Masters degree a plus but not required if experience is strong).
  • Membership in professional networks such as the Grant Professionals Association (GPA) or Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP).
