Salary: Ark Outside London Support Pay Scale 6 Pay Points 8 - 19: 25992 to 31067 (pro rata)
Contract type: Permanent

Cover Supervisor
Start date: As soon as possible
Location: Ark Alexandra Academy Hastings East Sussex
Actual starting salary: 22357.48 (this does not include any cost of living increase awarded by the Government for 2025/26)
Hours: 36 hours per week Term Time Only (39 weeks per year)

Are you passionate about education and looking to make a real impact in the classroom We are looking for a dedicated and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join our hard-working team.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to support students across both of our campuses ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of teaching staff. This includes maintaining a positive and focused learning environment and managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
Our standards are high and we need someone who can be a team player and flexible when supporting other colleagues with the ability to remain resilient calm and professional under pressure.

Were looking for an individual who:
- Has experience in a UK based classroom role including classroom organisation and management supporting the planning and delivery of the curriculum implementing behaviour and learning strategies
- Has the Ability to undertake a range of teaching activities with confidence working effectively with individual pupils groups of pupils and whole classes
- Has a robust awareness of keeping children safe noticing safeguarding and welfare concerns and you understand how and when to take appropriate action
