Do you have experience ideally from the food manufacturing sector and enjoy working nights My client is looking for a Nights Shift Supervisor to join their team at their manufacturing faculty in North Yorkshire. Reporting in to the Production Manager this is a permanent site based position offering competitive salary and benefits
The successful Shift Supervisor will be responsible for:
Delivering the production plan in line with company procedures and standards.
Supporting and coaching Area Leads and production teams to achieve daily output targets.
Maintaining Health & Safety and GMP standards ensuring compliance with statutory and audit requirements.
Managing and reporting on key KPIs including yield waste labour downtime and cost of quality.
Leading by example to foster a positive and engaging workplace culture.
Supporting HR processes including training development and disciplinary procedures.
Assisting with trials of new equipment and driving efficiency improvements
The ideal candidate will have some previous relevant experience in a similar role ideally from within the food manufacturing sector. You must have supervisory/management experience and a knowledge of health & safety standards and food safety systems.
This role offers a competitive salary from 16.50ph and would be working 12-hour shifts Nights Monday Thursday 6.00pm 6.00am (12-hour shifts) and the business is commutable from is commutable from Malton York Scarborough Driffieldand surrounding areas.
