Job Summary
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Fast-paced high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant.
**Sign-On Bonus for Eligible New Hires**
Work location: 400 West Arbrook Suite 300 Arlington TX 76104
Work hours: Full Time 40 hours weekly. Monday-Friday 7:15am-4:15pm

Heres What You Need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
- One (1) Year of Medical Assistant experience (STRONGLY PREFERRED)
- CMA Current Medical Assistant Certification (REQUIRED)
- ACLS or BCLS upon hire (PREFERRED
- Bilingual in Spanish/English (STRONGLY PREFERRED)
- Perform EKGs draw blood and administer injections as needed by assigned clinic.
- Effectively communicate to staff and patients.
- Demonstrate knowledge of examination diagnostic and treatment room procedures.
- Have a thorough knowledge of the meaning and use of medical terminology and abbreviations.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and composure with the ability to take appropriate action in questionable or emergency situations.
- Maintain a positive caring attitude towards patients.
- Have good computer skills using a medical management application.
- Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.
- Perform general patient care by following established standards and procedures
- Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider.
- Obtain and record vital signs including but not limited to: blood pressure temperature pulse respiration height weight drug allergies and current medications and presenting problem.
- Administer ordered medications and/or vaccines via oral injection topical rectal ophthalmic and/or inhalant administration.
- May be required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis as well as perform routine tests such as EKG.
- Schedule patients for diagnostic testing and follows up to ensure completion of testing.
