The Role:

Our site in Danbury CT is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our team.

This person would work as a key member of a small specialty gas production team and will also be a contributor to a larger operations group. The person in this role would take direction from a qualified Technician and report directly to the Production Supervisor. Danbury Specialty Gas Operations is a dynamic and often fast paced environment where safety is paramount. The ideal candidate for this role would be someone who enjoys being part of a strong team is dedicated to continuous improvement and has some experience safely working with hazardous materials while maintaining a focus on meeting and exceeding production goals.

What Youll Do:

  • Support return cylinder refurbishment processing and quality checks.

  • The person in this role must train and become proficient in all aspects of cylinder refurbishment.

  • Responsible for safely operating media blasters hand and power tools.

  • Responsible for confirming conformity based on gauges and other measuring instruments.

  • Responsible for performing safety and quality checks.

  • Responsible for segregating and documenting Non-Conforming Material.

  • Responsible for keeping a clean work area and maintaining equipment.

  • Success in this role means meeting and exceeding production demand.

  • This person must demonstrate a dedication to safety excellence.

What We Seek:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.

  • 1-2 years of manufacturing experience with experience processing and completing work orders based on a production schedule.

  • Safely operate hand/power tools and media blasters.

  • Safely working with hazardous materials using PPE.

  • Clean and maintain equipment and work areas (5S).

  • Ability to multitask and manage time appropriately.

  • Experienced with SAP Microsoft office.

  • Ability to work on site full-time.

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

  • Experience working with hazardous materials is a plus
