What this job involves: Maintaining clean safe and welcoming facilities through comprehensive custodial services. Youll be responsible for general cleaning duties routine maintenance of custodial equipment waste management and ensuring security protocols are followed. This role also includes mentoring new team members and maintaining current training certifications.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Perform general custodial duties including dusting mopping vacuuming and cleaning restrooms
Restock paper and soap supplies throughout the facility
Empty trash receptacles and properly dispose of waste in compactors/dumpsters
Conduct routine maintenance on custodial equipment and supplies
Secure facility by locking/unlocking doors as needed
Assist with on-the-job training of new custodial staff
Complete miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Maintain current training certifications and comply with all safety procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous custodial or facilities maintenance experience
Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
Experience working in a team environment
Basic maintenance skills

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
Capability to safely operate vacuums and related cleaning equipment
Ability to lift push or pull objects up to 50 pounds
Comfortable working in environments with exposure to cleaning chemicals dust varying temperatures and noise
Must be able to perform heavy physical work (70% of job duties)
Ability to follow safety procedures and protocols

Work Schedule:

Day shift (1st shift) Monday-Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (40 hours/week)

Salary/Comp:

$15.00 - $17.00 USD Hourly
