Job Summary and Responsibilities
This position is located on-site at Penrose Hopsital in Colorado Springs.
This class is the first level in the CommonSpirit Health Information Technology Management series. Incumbents are responsible for the management of a process including related projects and resources as assigned. May be responsible for the supervision of professional technical administrative and executive leadership support staff assigned to the process. Based upon assignment managers administer programs and projects supporting assigned processes with administrative functions requiring differing levels of risk to the organization while providing for the across-the-board first level management necessary to execute the process programs and projects of the organization. Incumbents may supervise staff including conducting performance evaluations coordinating training; and implementing hiring discipline and termination procedures. Incumbents oversee day-to-day operational management of all activities and functions in support of the respective assigned process/program(s) including developing implementing and evaluating operating policies procedures and standards; determining service levels and enhancements; developing and monitoring budgets; providing technical advice and/or oversight to staff or other departments related to area of assignment; evaluating information concerning needs; estimating and coordinating program/unit activities and associated costs; and tactical project execution activities.

Licensure and Certifications
- CompTIA Network (NTWK-PLUS) preferred
- CompTIA A Certification (A-PLUS) preferred
Minimum Knowledge Skills Abilities and Training
- Advanced customer service skills
- Expert knowledge of IT best practices to include policy and procedures and advanced troubleshooting at multiple levels
- Displays excellent communications skill sets including ability to provide written verbal and listening abilities across all functions
- Demonstrated ability to launch organize and deliver IT projects on time and within budget
Physical Demands
- Sedentary Work- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (occasionally means activity or conditions exist up to 1/3 of the work day) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (frequently means activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the work day) to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
