REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Excellent written organizational and oral communication skills
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
A computer test may be required
Prior Receptionist experience is a must!
Confident professional with the ability to multitask
Ability to take on roles and responsibilities proactively
SALARY: $40000.00 annually Benefits
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer phones and properly take messages
- Monitor the reception area and individuals entering and leaving the building
- Ensure sign-in/sign-out sheets are completed for visitors parents/guardians and students
- Notify Teachers if emergency contact cards should be updated
- Greet and assist parents. Including handling complaints and requests professionally and calmly and notifying the principal immediately of parent concerns
- Contact the class teacher as necessary regarding student pickup and deliveries.
- Work with PowerSchool data entry systems daily to enter and input student attendance data.
- Responsible for maintaining all aspects of the Meal Tracking Forms weekly.
- Ensure that appointments are maintained and coordinated with Teachers. Including scheduling them correctly on the days and times specified and reminding individuals of these appointments
- Ensure the monthly School calendar is posted in the entrance.
- Substitute in classrooms as requested by the Principal/CAO of Education.
- Work at dismissal to coordinate bus pickup for students
- Perform clerical activities as requested by the Principal/CAO of Education including typing copying for staff filing for the office as needed and making phone calls as requested
- Receives sorts and routes mail and maintains publications
- Attend training as requested
- The principal/CAO may request other tasks.
