About the role:
Samsara is seeking a Sales Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in designing scaling and elevating the systems processes and policies that power our global sales engine. As a trusted partner to senior leaders across Samsaras go-to-market teams you will own and scale critical Run-the-Business (RTB) processes ensuring our sales organization operates with speed accuracy and consistency as we grow past $2B in revenue. This leader will have an outsized impact on the future of our sales organization by delivering long-term transformative solutions that bring together people process and technology across the pre-sales customer journey.

In this role you will:
- Own scale and uplevel Run-the-Business (RTB) processes that are critical to keeping Sales running seamlesslydriving accuracy speed and continuous improvement.
- Drive operational excellence in account segmentation territory planning and execution building the frameworks and analyses that guide how we assign and manage books of business.
- Deliver and operationalize Sales Policies by translating strategy into clear scalable and auditable processes that create consistency across the field.
- Partner with Salesforce Systems and automation teams to enhance workflows automate manual tasks and drive efficiency across the Sales organization.
- Leverage Salesforce CRM and advanced Excel logic to manage complex ownership models territory rules and opportunity distribution.
- Champion role model and embed Samsaras cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success Build for the Long Term Adopt a Growth Mindset Be Inclusive Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
Minimum requirements for the role:
- 5 years of experience in sales tools management or related roles.
- Proven success in managing tools for large sales teams (1200 users).
- Strong project management skills with experience in implementation and ROI measurement.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems sales automation tools and productivity software
- Bachelors degree in business finance economics engineering or a related field; MBA is optional
An ideal candidate also has:
- Expertise in Salesforce CRM (Administrator experience a plus).
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency.
- Experience in account segmentation territory planning and sales operations execution.
- Familiarity with automation tools (UiPath RPA Salesforce Flows etc.).
- Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Project/program management experience; familiarity with Lead-to-Cash systems or process improvement methodologies is a plus.
