Job Description

Our client a highly successful locally owned and operated organization is seeking a Sr Controller to join their established team. You will be a CPA who articled in the firm and have 10 years progress experience currently in a Controller position. This position is for those who like to roll up their sleeves and drive the success of the organization.

Reporting to the CEO your duties will include but not be limited to;

Leading the accounting team and their day to day full cycle activities including; AR AP Billings Inventory and all transaction related tasks
All month-end and year-end activities
Financial reporting with both ASPE/IFRS accounting standards
Point of contact for auditors and external stakeholders (Banks Insurance)
Mentorship of team
Support of corporate initiatives and strategic vision through analysis and recommendations
