R&D Senior Application Developer

Position Summary
We are seeking a full-time R&D Senior Application Developer to support the continued development and maintenance of an accounting software system. This role involves analysis coding debugging troubleshooting and testing primarily using MS SQL Server and PowerBuilder. The developer will work closely with project managers and the QA team to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Develop software according to end user requirements and quality standards.
Debug the system and make necessary program design modifications as required.
Collaborate with project managers QA and other team members.
Attend planning and design meetings.
Assist in troubleshooting the application.
Mentor other developers as needed.
Perform all duties in a professional responsive and collaborative manner with coworkers and supervisors.

Required Skills and Experience

BS/MS degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or equivalent.
5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and PowerBuilder.
Knowledge of C# or Delphi is helpful but not required.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams leadership and clients.
