Job Summary

Job Title: Portfolio Manager

Term: 12 months

Location: Cairo Egypt

Division: Cards

Relevant experience: 10 years

Mandatory requirements:

Portfolio analysis card product development and LCM.
English/Arabic is mandatory.

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT

To optimize the clients card issuing business through data-driven portfolio analysis and product lifecycle management. The project enhances customer acquisition and retention via strategic marketing and loyalty initiatives. It also identifies organizational improvements to boost performance compliance and profitability.

Key Activities

Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Analyze debit and credit card portfolio performance across acquisition activation usage and retention
Develop a thorough understanding of the Client issuing business and priorities.
Effectively direct portfolio analysis using Mastercard and Client tools and platforms.
Keep track of portfolio health through key performance indicators (KPIs) to guide and correct variances.
Manages the entire lifecycle of card products from launch to retention ensuring optimal performance and profitability.
Identify and make recommendations to enhance the Clients issuing business organization (functions required roles responsibilities training requirements).
Works with marketing and sales teams to develop effective customer acquisition strategies including targeted campaigns and partnerships.
Implements strategies to retain existing customers such as loyalty programs personalized offers and excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
Actively and efficiently liaison with Mastercard Product and Account Management functions as and when required.

Knowledge and Experience

Minimum bachelors degree in a relevant field.
Experience in portfolio analysis card product development and LCM
Experience creating and managing card portfolio with proven results.
Demonstrates knowledge of issuing regulatory requirements.
English/ Arabic is mandatory.
