Job Summary
TMC Technologies is searching for aLead Senior Systems Administrator (Unix / Linux) to join our team on a bid effort to provide Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure support services to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD).
This position requires a TS or TS/SCI clearance. Work is expected to start in August 2026. The primary place of performance is Dahlgren VA.
Requirements
TS or TS/SCI Clearance
Six (6) years of professional experience in UNIX and/or Linux system administration of networks and software systems.
Experience in the following areas:
System backup and recovery
Basic software management
Security management and library management
Installation and configuration of hardware
Operational systems and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software; operating computer systems in different operating environments; and sizing performance tuning hardware/software/network trouble shooting and resource allocation.
Network protocols including TCP/IP and major network security tools such as firewalls knowledge of computing and networking vulnerabilities attach methods and latest detection methods.
This position is designated as Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level III (CASP CE CISA CISSP or Associate GCED GICSP GCIH)
