JOB OVERVIEW
The Director of Tech Adoption & Partnerships drives Conexus Indianas efforts to help small- to mid-sized advanced manufacturers and logistics (AML) firms embrace and tech adoption. This role supports companies in overcoming the challenges that often prevent them from pursuing and investing in tech adoption strategies; whether thats building a clear ROI case finding the right technologies or developing a roadmap for implementation.
Beyond facilitating access to technology Conexus Indiana champions a comprehensive approach to digital adoption that recognizes its impact on Indianas workforce. By helping companies successfully integrate advanced technologies organizations create higher-skill positions that offer enhanced compensation and improved career advancement opportunities for Hoosiers. The Directors strategic focus on tech adoption serves as a foundation for workforce development positioning Indiana workers to thrive in a technology-driven economy.
The Director builds and manages strategic partnerships that advance tech adoption develops programs and resources that address industry pain points and ensures Indianas AML companies have the tools networks and knowledge to increase productivity and long-term competitiveness. Success in this role requires both program leadership and relationship management as well as strong technical acumen in Industry 4.0 technologies strategies and resources. The Director serves as a connector and strategist linking tech adoption programming with industry partners research insights and Conexus initiatives to increase productivity across Indianas AML sector.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead Conexus programming that helps small- to mid-sized manufacturers and logistics firms pursue and invest in tech adoption strategies including workshops case studies blueprints and other tech adoption content for educating industry leaders.
  • Build and sustain partnerships with industry academic public-sector and philanthropic organizations to advance tech adoption and create opportunities for Indiana companies.
  • Apply technical acumen in Industry 4.0 technologies strategies and resources to help AML leaders understand options justify ROI and build implementation roadmaps.
  • Manage program budgets track and report program impact and ensure alignment with Conexus Indiana and stakeholder needs.
  • Represent Conexus Indiana at partner meetings council sessions and public events serving as a credible voice for digital adoption in advanced manufacturing and logistics.
  • Collaborate with CICP and other branded initiative leaders on behalf of Conexus to execute cross-sector efforts to accelerate digital adoption.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors degree required in business engineering technology or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in partnership development project management engineering technology deployment technical sales manufacturing or logistics operations.
  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g. automation robotics IoT AI data analytics) and digital adoption strategies in industrial environments.
  • Strong program and project management skills with a track record of delivering complex initiatives on time and on budget.
