As a Full Time Office Associate III - Partners in Recovery at the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board you will be a vital part of our mission to offer exceptional outpatient counseling medication management and medication-assisted treatment services to adults facing substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Your role will involve a diverse array of administrative responsibilities including typing receptionist duties appointment scheduling and meticulous record-keeping. You will engage directly with program clients caregivers and other service providers contributing to our person-centered clinical approach that addresses the complex interplay between substance use and psychiatric issues. This position offers a unique opportunity to play an essential role in a team dedicated to delivering high-quality care and support to those in need.
To excel as a Full Time Office Associate III - Partners in Recovery candidates should possess a robust combination of clerical and customer service experience ideally with at least one year in a relevant role. Strong proficiency in computer skills is essential including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook Word and Excel as well as web-based tools like Zoom for effective communication and scheduling. Excellent oral and written communication skills are vital as you will interact frequently with clients caregivers and other service providers ensuring clear and empathetic communication. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred granting you a deeper understanding of the unique challenges faced in this field.
