Job Summary

Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant Long Term Care
Department: LTC
Location: Park Ridge Living Center
Hours Per Week: per diem
Schedule:per diem

SUMMARY:
Provides proper patient care.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides and/or assists the resident in bathing and all other ADLs as per care plan.
Maintains appropriate toileting/bowel regimens as per individualized care planning.
Assists with feeding residents tray distribution and recording of intakes as per policy..
Responds to resident requests in a timely manner.
Distributes nourishments and fluids assists resident and records intake appropriately.
Provides physical assistance to residents for daily needs.
Provides designated exercises and repositioning for the residents.
Maintains required documentation and food/fluid records in a timely manner.
Receives/gives report to team members/team leaders at the stipulated time with all information complied.
Assists in maintaining resident equipment and environment in a neat clean manner assuring process

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

CNA registered in NYS.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to read write and speak English ability to follow verbal and written instruction.
Some experience working with people.

Completion of NYS approved certified nursing assistant program.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking standing or squatting.
