Experienced Cardio PA needed in Richardson TX

Methodist Medical Group (MMG) a premier physician-led organization affiliated with Methodist Health System in Dallas Texas is actively seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our well-established Cardio team in Richardson TX to work collaboratively with team of providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in Cardiology and commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

MMG in Dallas Texas is a leading multi-specialty physician organization affiliated with Methodist Health offers a spectrum of medical and surgical specialties including; Primary Care Cardiology Gastroenterology Hospital Medicine Neurological Surgery OBGYN Orthopedic Surgery Transplant Surgery and various other specialty service lines.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive assessment diagnosis and management of patients with cardiovascular conditions
• Conduct physical exams order and interpret diagnostic tests and formulate treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
• Manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions including hypertension arrhythmias heart failure coronary artery disease and post-procedural care
• Assist with hospital rounding and transitions of care as needed
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state licensure and scope of practice
• Educate patients and families on disease management treatment options lifestyle modifications and preventive care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school Physician Assistant
• Recognition as an Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Unrestricted Texas Medical License and DEA
• At least two (2) years of Cardiology experience required
• Strong clinical assessment critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication teamwork and patient education skills
• Fluent in Vietnamese is a plus but not required
