We are seeking an experienced professional in the Strategy and Development Group to drive GenZeros ESG and impact integration across our investment portfolio. The individual will work closely with GenZeros investee companies Temasek ecosystem as well as other industry players to drive the implementation of ESG and impact policies and annual reporting.

We are seeking an experienced professional in the Strategy and Development Group to drive GenZeros ESG and impact integration across our investment portfolio. The individual will work closely with GenZeros investee companies Temasek ecosystem as well as other industry players to drive the implementation of ESG and impact policies and annual reporting.
Responsibilities
- Implement and refine GenZeros ESG and Impact measurement frameworks
- Support GenZeros Investment Group in the pre-investment evaluation and due diligence of ESG risks and Impact indicators in line with internal frameworks and policies
- Engage GenZeros portfolio companies to measure and improve ESG and Impact performance at individual investments and portfolio level
- Lead GenZeros annual Sustainability Report development including data collection and external assurance in line with leading sustainability disclosure standards
- Monitor international and regulatory developments on ESG climate impact and other sustainability disclosure policies and provide timely advice on international initiatives and coalitions in relevant areas
- Engage in and support international thought leadership activities on sustainability-related measurements reporting and data
- Lead the planning and execution of GenZeros Board meetings as Board Secretariat
- Degree in business finance sustainability environmental science or related disciplines; Masters degree or higher is preferred
- 5-7 years of work experience with at least 3 years of experience in sustainability impact or ESG investing advisory or measurement roles; experience in carbon markets will be an advantage
- Experience in engaging directly with companies investors consultants and sustainability standard bodies including coordinating corporate or portfolio sustainability reports and/ or reports to sustainability standards
- Technical understanding of ESG standards impact measurement corporate GHG measurement and target setting including methodologies for setting net-zero or Science Based Targets. Knowledge of best practices standards and initiatives relevant for investors such as ISSB SBTi SASB UN PRI and UN SDGs
- Excellent oral and written skills in English
- Strong project management and analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
