About the role:
At Kyriba were on an exciting journey to digitally transform how our platform empowers developers partners and clients around the world. Our Developer Ecosystem team is at the heart of this transformation focused on reimagining how APIs are built consumed and scaled with intelligence and autonomy.
We are seeking a passionate Junior Business Analyst to support and accelerate Kyribas API journey as part of our broader digital transformation. If youre excited about APIs modern platforms and the opportunity to work at the intersection of AI automation and developer experience this role is for you.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
In this role youll work closely with product managers developers and stakeholders across the organization to analyze business needs document solutions and help deliver smarter faster and more intuitive API experiences.
Learn about Kyribas applications and APIs to understand how they work suggest where they could be useful and help users get started with using them.
You will contribute Kyribas Open API Initiative via:
Assist API producers throughout the API development lifecycle from ideation and design to implementation testing publishing and monitoring
Support the onboarding and adoption of APIs by working with product and engineering teams to ensure APIs are well-documented discoverable and aligned with business needs
Help analyze API usage and performance trends and share insights to improve API quality usability and adoption
Support the improvement of internal tools and workflows that makes it easier for teams to expose and consume APIs across Kyribas platform
Collaborate with the Developer Ecosystem engineering team to launch new API-related features and tools that improve usability and integration
Provide day-to-day support to API producers helping them navigate tooling processes and best practices to ensure a smooth API journey
Education Experience & Skills:
Were looking for someone whos curious motivated and excited about how modern platforms are built especially with APIs microservices and the growing role of AI. You have:
Keen interest in modern API ecosystems with a desire to understand how they power todays microservice-based platforms.
Basic experience with or exposure to API design testing & support while coding is not required understanding how APIs work is essential.
Hands-on experience using API testing tools like Postman or cURL to explore and validate API behavior.
Familiarity with OpenAPI specifications tools like Stoplight Swagger UI or Spectral and GitHub for reviewing and documenting APIs.
Understanding of AI concepts and interest in how AI can enhance developer tools and API lifecycle processes.
Technically savvy comfortable working with formats and tools such as JSON Markdown Python (basic) HTML/CSS and Java (reading code).
Analytical mindset able to identify issues analyze usage data or process flows and propose improvements based on evidence.
Effective presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Keen eye for detail particularly in visual presentation and user experience
