Deutsche Bank benefits from having a highly experienced and dedicated Compliance & Anti-Financial Crime (C&AFC) function that serves as a trusted and respected independent control function that aims to protect the Bank from financial crime and compliance risks whilst serving the interests of the Bank and society.

Within the dynamic Financial Crime Risk Assessment team you will be responsible in supporting the business in maintaining DBs financial crime risk exposure within the defined Risk Appetite of the particular you will help measure the inherent financial crime risks facing the effectiveness of the controls that exist to mitigate those risks and the resultant residual risk and its position against the defined Risk Appetite

Your key responsibilities

  • Defining requirements for the design methodology assessment unit structure data analysis risk identification KRIs etc and execution of the AFC Risk Assessment including the revalidation of existing requirements;

  • Maintaining the governance arrangements (Policies Procedures and KOD) relating to the AFC Risk Assessment;

  • Support the execution team in ensuring business and regions understand the risks assessed through the dynamic AFC Risk Assessment methodology;

  • Continue on the improvement works of the Global AFC Risk Assessment methodology; and

  • Participate in the drafting of the annual Risk Assessment reportings.

Your skills and experience

  • An understanding of and exposure to the formulation and conduct of risk assessments preferably gained in a financial institution;

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to assimilate large volumes of information and provide actionable solutions to issues arising;

  • Strong presentation skills including the production of communication packs for senior audience and detailed packs for operational staff;

  • Experience of working practically within remediation or change

  • The ability to respond quickly to changing priorities working under pressure and within tight deadlines with no loss of accuracy.
