Job Description
We are looking for experienced social workers who:
- Are passionate about supporting children to remain in their family network andrecognise the positive impact this can have on their wellbeing and outcomes.
- Understand the specific needs of Connected Carers and how these needs could be met within a fostering setting.
- Have a proven track record of working collaboratively with others to ensure the best outcomes for childrenand a creative approach to problem solving.
- Are confident communicators able to manage competing demands
This Senior Supervising Social Work role will include:
- Supervising Connected Foster Carers
- Offering advice and support on common issues affecting Connected foster carers both within and outside of the Fostering Service.
- Taking the lead on the development of specific training and support needs of Connected Carers
- Keeping up to date with research around Connected carers and linking to local and national Kinship organisations.
