Job Description

Occupational Therapist (OT) / Certified Hand Therapist (CHT): Lakeshore Bone and Joint Institute - Schererville

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Salary starts at $80k/yr. commensurate with experience.

Schedule: Monday Wednesday Thursday - 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Tuesday & Friday - 8:00 am - 2:00 pm

Work setting: Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic

Location: 833 W. Lincoln Hwy. Suite 110E. Schererville IN 46375

Lakeshore Bone & Joint is seeking a Hand Therapist with experience in orthosis fabrication and shoulder rehabilitation to join our team and be an integral part of our patients orthopedic journey. Leadership and talent development to teach our therapists how to manage people develop social and emotional intelligence and run a clinic.

Responsibilities:

Developing individualized treatment plans for patients

Close communication with referral sources

Outlining clear goals for patients and the expected outcomes of the plan

Using exercises stretching equipment and hands-on therapy to manage patients pain increase mobility and prevent further pain and injury

Strong documentation skills recording patients progress and modifying the plan of care as needed

Educating patients and family members about the recovery process

Qualifications:

Post-Op/Post Injury splinting experience.

Indiana license as an Occupational Therapist or ability to obtain license.

Certified Hand Therapy credentialing preferred and/or willing to support a CHT track.

Applicants must work well with other therapists physicians and staff.

Training is available for the motivated candidate.
