Job Summary:

Player 15 Group includes several companies and many collaborative departments that support the Phoenix Suns Phoenix Mercury and Mortgage Matchup Center.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivatedâIn-Arena Host to assist team members with bringing energy and excitement to the in-arena show for the Valley Suns.

What You Will Do:

• Serve as a representative of the Valley Suns brand by performing in front of an audience with professionalism energy and enthusiasm at all home games and select community events.

• Participate in pre-production meetings rehearsals and soundchecks for promotions and activations

• Be the voice of the in-arena show and bring energy and excitement to all activations.

• Host community & brand events throughout the community

What We Need From Our In-Arena Host:

• Ability to memorize and recite specific copy including partner taglines & introductions.

• Comfortable speaking in front of large groups of people with confidence & charisma

• Ability to ad-lib on the fly operate within strict timing guidelines and thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Must provide great interpersonal skills to all staff fans & other stakeholders

Experience/ Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

• A minimum 1-2 years of of related work experience in live events

• A strong knowledge of basketball is preferred

• Ability to transit throughout the arena for long periods of time.

• This position works mainly indoors removed from extreme weather; exposure to weather is <5%

• S-Sedentary Work Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.

• Must be able to carry on a conversation both on the phone and in-person.

• Ability to Read Write & Speak in English
