Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking Senior Shipside Operations Specialists to support the Everett Delivery Center Line Side Control Center (EDC LSCC) team in Everett Washington.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Uses technical knowledge understanding of process flow and networking skills to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by responsible support organizations

  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria. Analyzes and interprets data

  • Provides feedback on assessment results

  • Assists organizations in identifying reoccurring and high impact issues

  • Supports root cause analysis and corrective action plans to address reoccurring and high impact issues. Facilitates ongoing coordination and tracking of open items

  • Provides guidance and coaching to less experienced teammates

  • Willing and able to work a 2nd shift schedule

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5 years of experience in an aerospace fabrication or manufacturing environment

  • 5 years of experience collecting organizing synthesizing and analyzing data

  • 5 years of experience implementing Lean methodologies and productivity improvements

  • Proficient Microsoft Office tools (Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook)

  • Willing and able to work a 2nd shift schedule

  • Able to work overtime holidays and weekends if required

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3 year of leadership experience

  • 1 year of flight line operations experience

  • 3 years of experience working with Shipside Action Tracker (SAT)

  • Proficient with CMES VELOCITY REDARS PSDS and BAC specifications

  • Proficient in Root Cause Identification
