COMPENSATION RANGE:
Compensation for this position ranges from $30.00 to $45.00 per hour and is commensurate with experience expertise verified credentials and available company budget.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitate and document coordination with external primary care providers as clinically appropriate and with proper consent.

The Backup Delegating Nurse is responsible for overseeing clinical care regulatory compliance and safe nursing practice within the assisted living program. In accordance with COMAR 10.07.14.20 the Delegating Nurse shall be on-site at least every 45 days to observe each resident remain available on call or designate a qualified alternate and carry out ongoing clinical oversight. The Backup Delegating Nurse is responsible for overseeing clinical care regulatory compliance and safe nursing practice within the assisted living program. This role ensures that residents receive high-quality individualized care through effective assessment clinical oversight and coordination with direct care staff and leadership.
In accordance with COMAR 10.07.14.20 the Delegating Nurse shall be on-site at least every 45 days to observe each resident remain available on call or designate a qualified alternate and carry out ongoing clinical oversight. The nurse serves as the key liaison between nursing care and program management issuing clinical orders reviewing assessments and delegating nursing tasks in accordance with the scope of practice and resident needs.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment a proactive approach to care coordination and a thorough understanding of Maryland assisted living regulations.
SCHEDULED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
