What Youll Do:
The Role:
As the Breakfast Server you are primarily responsible for serving breakfast as well as the upkeep and cleanliness of the dining room and pantry. Breakfast is served daily from 8am -10am. You are responsible for the setup and breakdown of the dining room serving each guest table bussing and then resetting all tables. Upkeep includes mopping vacuuming and maintaining general organization of dining room and pantry. As the ideal candidate you should be flexible and be able to commit to 12-20 hours per week. The position is staffed Sept through November. A typical shift is 7:30am 12pm.
Specifically youll:
- Serving breakfast and beverages to inn guests
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the inns dining room and pantry
- Assisting the breakfast Cook with kitchen cleanliness
- Washing dishes glasses silverware
- Laundry including napkins and tablecloths
This is a limited-term non-exempt position working 12-20 hours/week reporting directly to Assistant Innkeeper and Innkeeper.

- Positive customer interaction skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Demonstrated organizational skills
Eligibility Criteria:
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. with or without accommodation
- Must be able to climb stairs (no elevator in the building)
- Current authorization to work in the United States a candidate must have such authorization by his or her first day of employment.
- A satisfactory criminal background (CORI) check.
