Job Summary
IN SHORT
Were seeking aSenior Platform (DevOps) Engineer (80-100%) to join our technology transformation journey. Youll be instrumental in building our cloud-native infrastructure enabling our value stream teams to deliver continuously and supporting our ambitious goal of achieving zero-touch operations.
Your mission: Accelerate delivery while ensuring reliability. Youll design and implement the infrastructure that enables our four value streams (Consumer Experience Operations Business Services Data & Insights) to ship features daily while maintaining 99.9% uptime for our critical business operations.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Infrastructure & Platform
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure (Azure) supporting our IoT ecosystem
- Build and maintain container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes) for service oriented architecture
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi) for our multi-environment setup
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for critical business systems (WMS IoT data pipeline customer-facing apps)
- Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines enabling daily deployments across all value streams
- Build automated testing frameworks and deployment strategies (blue-green canary releases)
- Implement automated rollback mechanisms and feature flag systems
- Create self-service deployment tools for development teams
- Implement comprehensive monitoring stack (Prometheus Grafana ELK) for application and infrastructure metrics
- Build alerting systems with intelligent noise reduction and escalation procedures
- Design distributed tracing for microservices architecture
- Create dashboards supporting real-time business metrics and SLA monitoring
- Implement security best practices across the infrastructure lifecycle
- Manage secrets certificates and access controls
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR)
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability management
YOUR PROFILE
- 5 years of experience in a DevOps or Platform Engineering role.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and containerization (Docker Kubernetes).
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi Terraform) and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid programming and scripting skills in languages like Python Go or Typescript.
- Proven experience managing high-availability production systems with 99.9% uptime.
- Strong skills in observability (monitoring logging) incident management and security best practices.
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills with experience working in agile cross-functional teams.
- A problem-solving mindset with a relentless focus on automation and efficiency.
- Nice to have: Experience with GitOps (ArgoCD Flux) supporting IoT or ML/Data pipeline infrastructure or relevant cloud certifications
- Fluent in English (German and French are a plus).
