NOW HIRING for 2025-26 Seasonal positions (temporary): General Manager for our Ice Rink Heartwood Ice in Omaha Nebraska from November 2025 through January 2026.
Additional time prior to opening and after the event closes will also be available. Ideal candidates would be available beginning October 20 2025 through February 15 2026.
Location: Heartwood Park Omaha Nebraska
Heartwood Park has a new public area known as The Bosque that will host a seasonal ice skating rink each year. The 2025 winter season will be second season of Heartwood Ice.
As a thank you to the public Heartwood will provide this experience free of charge.
Ice-America will be producing the skating rink at Heartwood Ice! Skaters and non-skaters alike are encouraged to apply for this fun and exciting event designed to engage the community during the holiday season! Looking for strong candidates interested in leading a team in a fun work environment. Applicants must have the availability to work during the Holidays working up to 59 hours a week. Local applicants preferred.
We are currently seeking fun enthusiastic men and women for:
GENERAL MANAGERS: Hiring General Managers with strong leadership experience in managing or supervising a team in a fast-paced working environment. Must have strong customer service communication written and organizational skills. Having extensive knowledge of the ice skating industry rink operations productions and/or competitions is preferred. The General Manager acts as a brand ambassador and Company/City representative and must have the ability to maintain client relationships. Comfortable working outdoors in various temperatures and elements. Responsible for eliminating safety hazards scheduling and the day-to-day operations of a temporary holiday ice skating event. The General Manager will lead the operations team overseeing all aspects of the staff practices including scheduling/payroll and daily supervision. CPR/First Aid certifications preferred but not required. Having proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred. Compensation dependent upon experience ranging from $24 - $27/hour ($1680 - $1890/week).
Ice-America a division of Seaside Ice LLC is a creator producer and operator of outdoor temporary ice-skating rinks and an ice event and television production group. We offer rapid deployment of turn-key portable ice rinks and operations in the US and Canada. We can literally make ice overnight and create unique entertainment events for communities businesses and other customers. We are searching for energetic hardworking people to be a part of our team!
