Responsibilities
In this role you will oversee financial reporting budgeting and forecasting while managing product costing and inventory valuation. You will lead audits support an ERP system implementation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This role also plays a key part in strategic planning and HR-related financial functions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will bring a bachelors degree in accounting or finance; CPA licensure is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of senior-level accounting experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller is required. A strong background in accounting financial analysis and forecasting is necessary. Strong communication skills and the ability to develop relationships with external business professionals (banks auditors lenders etc.) is important. Experience in the food manufacturing or processing industry is preferred.
