This Position reports to:
Sales Support ManagerAutomation Technical Support Engineer (No Travel Required)
As an automation technical specialist you will provide technical expertise to support our sales teams and customers during the presales phase by providing expert guidance on ABBs state-of-the-art Distributed Control Systems (DCS).

This role is contributing to the Process Automation in Ostrava.
Your role and responsibilities
You will be mainly accountable for:
Technical Presales Support: Provide technical guidance to sales teams without engaging in commercial negotiations.
Collaborate Globally: Collaborate with cross-functional global teams including product management R&D and ABB front-end organizations.
Enhance Technical Competence: Continuously develop your expertise in ABBs DCS product portfolio.
Low travel requirements
Qualifications for the role
Experience in process automation.
Core Expertise: Knowledge of System 800xA Industrial Communication: Understanding of Ethernet PROFIBUS PROFINET Modbus.
High School / Bachelors degree/ University degree in a relevant field (Automation Electrical Engineering Computer Science)
Fluent English language skills.
