Course Description:

Analyse des technologies numériques utilisées pour représenter et récupérer de linformation. Le cours met laccent sur deux méthodes XML et la base de données pour représenter interroger et transformer des données structurées y compris les diagrammes entité-relation le schéma XML et les feuilles de style XML. Le cours explore aussi les technologies sur lesquelles sappuient les moteurs de recherche tels le traitement du langage naturel lindexation de texte intégral la classification de documents la recherche sémantique et les systèmes de recommandations situant chacune de ces technologies dans le contexte des dépôts de documents et des bibliothèques électroniques. Antérieurement ISI 5541.

Requirements:

Doctorat ou maîtrise en sciences de linformation ou dans une discipline connexe. Une spécialisation ou une expérience de lenseignement dans le domaine concerné est recommandée.

Compréhension approfondie des technologies de gestion des actifs numériques et de leur application dans des contextes individuels et organisationnels.

Expertise dans les architectures client-serveur et les applications web basées sur des bases de données.

Connaissance de la sélection et du déploiement de systèmes de gestion des ressources numériques pour répondre à divers besoins.

Connaissance des métadonnés différents formats et des technologies vouées à larchivage au repérage et à la gestion des actifs numériques
