Job Summary:

The Department of Physiology & Pharmacology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a part-time Research Associate Professor (HS). The successful candidate will:

• Participate in medical student (MS) Brain Neuroanatomy Labs Neurohistology Labs pathway problem sets practical exam set up and proctoring.
• Serve as facilitator for PBL cases for MS-1 and/or MS-2.
• Participate in the education of students in the School of Graduate Studies including teaching and supervision of graduate students including serving as thesis advisor.
• Conduct active research and apply for extra-mural funding and attempt to obtain funding for research projects.

Required Qualifications:

• PhD in Neuro and Behavioral Sciences.
• Experience teaching students in medical school and graduate medical education.
