Were seeking a talented Equipment Engineer I to join our team and help drive operational excellence in our solar manufacturing facilities. This individual will be the maintenance program subject matter expert. They will be holistically solving ongoing preventative maintenance programs and reactive maintenance scenarios in a high-paced environment.

Technical Leadership
* Serve as technical SME for solar manufacturing equipment and systems
* Lead complex troubleshooting efforts across mechanical electrical and control systems
* Develop and optimize maintenance procedures and technical documentation
* Implement technical solutions to improve equipment reliability and performance
* Guide and mentor junior maintenance technicians
Operational Excellence
* Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs
* Manage maintenance scheduling and resource allocation
* Perform equipment risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
* Create and maintain standard operating procedures
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives
* Coordinate with vendors and external partners
Performance Management
* Monitor and improve key equipment metrics (uptime MTTR etc.)
* Lead root cause analysis investigations
* Develop and track maintenance KPIs
* Drive process improvements to optimize maintenance efficiency
* Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Technical degree or equivalent practical experience
* 3 years experience maintaining complex manufacturing equipment
* Experience with mechanical electrical and control systems
* Working knowledge of PLCs and automation systems
* Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance programs
* Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience working in production or automated production environments
* Advanced knowledge of manufacturing automation and control systems
* Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning
* Experience mentoring technical teams
* Six Sigma or similar process improvement certification
* Project management experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $83100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
