Group14 is seeking a Bilingual (English/Korean) Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team on a temporary basis. This role will provide comprehensive support across accounting operations including translation support. The ideal candidate is a versatile professional with strong accounting knowledge fluency in both English and Korean and the ability to support the transition of a newly acquired Korean company into our U.S. operations. This temporary assignment is expected to be full time and run through March 2026.
WHAT YOULL BE DOING:
- Process and manage Accounts Payable transactions including invoice entry coding and payment runs
- Support period close activities including reconciliations and journal entries
- Assist with expense reporting and compliance with company policies
- Translate financial and operational documents between English and Korean
- Provide interpretation support for meetings communications and cross-company collaboration
- Assist in audits tax returns budgeting and other projects
- Assist accounts receivable with processing customer invoices and payments
- Support the integration of financial operations policies and reporting between the U.S. and Korean entities during post-acquisition transaction activities
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR:
- 5 years of relevant experience preferably within manufacturing
- Business-fluent in Korean and English (spoken and written)
- 2 years of Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable and general ledger experience
- Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proficiency with accounting systems (ERP experience a plus) and Excel
- Excellent organizational time management written and verbal communication skills
OTHER QUALITIES WED LOVE FOR YOU TO HAVE:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- Familiarity with Korean accounting standards and common business practices
Base Pay Range
$35 - $45 USD
