Job Summary
Skilled Back-End Developer with strong experience in Java (8 to 21) Spring Boot and RESTful API development. Will be responsible for building and maintaining high-performance scalable server-side applications that power modern web and mobile platforms. Involves working closely with front-end developers DevOps engineers and product managers to deliver robust back-end systems.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Design develop and maintain back-end services and APIs using Java (821) and Spring Boot.
- Build scalable RESTful APIs to support front-end and mobile applications.
- Optimize application performance scalability and security.
- Write clean modular and well-documented code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine application features.
- Participate in code reviews unit testing and integration testing.
- Maintain existing applications and troubleshoot production issues.
- Implement best practices for software development including CI/CD and automated testing.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5 years of experience developing backend applications using Java 8 or higher.
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot Spring MVC and Spring Data JPA.
- Proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL MySQL Oracle) and strong SQL skills.
- Familiarity with Maven or Gradle for build automation.
- Understanding of application security and best practices (authentication authorization etc.).
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
