The Systems Integration & Test: Environments Center includes all the engineering disciplines responsible for systems design & test on all Raytheon products. Our engineers are responsible for all elements of the development lifecycle for test including test requirements test system design flight simulations hardware-in-the-loop computer-in-the-loop advanced engineering prototyping technology flight operations for manned and unmanned vehicles environmental testing environmental characterization and engineering laboratory management. We are hands-on designing with the latest technology and tools and integrate state of the art test solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world.
Raytheon is seeking an individual to fill our Engineer Services Support position to manage and implement engineering lab strategic projects and day-to-day administrative functions within multiple engineering labs with specific focus on safety security and compliance using established doctrine and governance. You will be creative and innovative possessing strong organizational coordination planning analytical and problem-solving the position you must be able to collaborate with customers employees and senior leaders when implementing processes and procedural changes.
This position is an onsite role in Tucson AZ.
What You Will Do
- Lab Operating Procedure (LOP) Management; provide direction for lab users on established policies
- Management coordination and implementation of Environment Health Safety and Sustainment
Property & Metrology Management - Perform cost analysis ensure task completion within approved budgets
- Provide process support to Supply Chain Management (SCM)
- Oversee audit/assessment preparation. Overseeing Engineering Lab Objective Evaluation and Voluntary Protection Program; develop corrective action plans and assist in the development of long-range objectives including engineering customer goals
- Safeguarding of classified/proprietary material hardware and documentation utilizing defense material/property under Export Administration Regulations
- Develop and implement communication plans providing consulting support to functional and engineering customer management
- Work to influence stakeholders within and outside responsible area at an operational level regarding policies practices and procedures
- Work autonomously with limited oversight; provide professional input guidance and problem solving
- This position requires some physical exertion while standing sitting or walking working outside
- Local travel in the general area may be required with occasional travel outside the local area

Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and 2 years prior relevant experience.
Experience working in a warehouse maintenance retail or similar environment.
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel applications.

Qualifications We Prefer
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical/electronic skills
- Experience with OSHA/NFPA industrial policies and regulations
- Experience with working directly with engineers technicians and leadership in an engineering lab environment in the areas of safety security compliance and property management
- Experience with EHS NISPOM JAFAN and Foreign Object Elimination
- Ability to build positive lasting relationships with customers
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel PowerPoint Word)
- Strong understanding and experience with Metrology and calibrations practices and preparing assets for such.

The salary range for this role is 66000 USD - 130000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
