We recently extended FlashArrays capabilities into the cloud with CloudSnap and Cloud Block Store for AWS. These innovations enable customers to leverage the public clouds agility for both traditional IT and cloud-native applications.

The Sizing & Metrics Services (SMS) team in Prague specializes in providing company-wide solutions for performance and capacity modeling simulation as well as real-time analytics for Pure Storage appliances. Our mission is to deliver accurate and reliable information for hardware and software sizing enabling critical business decisions and supporting product and platform development.

WHAT YOULL DO

• Design and implement creative algorithms and technologies for high-performance highly reliable systems (think six nines).
• Take ownership of innovation from concept to a shipped product.
• Analyze and solve challenging problems with persistence and insight.
• Collaborate with smart colleagues who inspire you and are inspired by you.
• Ensure customer satisfaction as its at the core of what we do.
• Learn and grow regardless of your prior experience with system software and data storage hardware.
• We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore you will be expected to work from the Prague office in compliance with Pures policies unless you are on PTO or work travel or other approved leave.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Experience using Python (or similar languages like Ruby Go or Scala) ideally with some experience developing REST APIs.
• Experience as a user of AWS Kubernetes Spinnaker GitHub and JIRA (or similar systems).
• A natural curiosity proven design sensibility and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
• Experience in distributed systems operating systems Linux Kernel database internals hypervisors containers or compiler optimization is a plus.
