Location: Hounslow West London
Contract: September 2025 July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: 444 per week (PAYE)

Are you keen to work as a Spanish Academic Mentor in Hounslow this September
A secondary school in Hounslow is looking for a Spanish Academic Mentor to support pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4. This role is ideal for graduates with strong language skills and an interest in teaching translation or further academic study. You will help pupils develop their reading writing listening and speaking skills in Spanish and prepare for assessments and exams.
As a Spanish Academic Mentor you will deliver one-to-one tuition run small group workshops and support language teachers to reinforce key concepts. You will help pupils gain confidence in communication expand vocabulary and develop a love of the Spanish language and culture.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils in Spanish lessons and study sessions
- Running small group interventions on grammar vocabulary and exam techniques
- Providing one-to-one academic support
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and marking
Were looking for:
- A UK undergraduate degree in Spanish Modern Languages or a related subject (2:1 or above)
- Strong communication and written skills
- A passion for languages and education
- Commitment to the full academic year
