Job Summary
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform geotechnical calculations and analyses for seepage slope stability shallow and deep foundations retaining structures and tieback anchors.
- Prepare technical reports design and construction drawings specifications and other documentation.
- Plan subsurface exploration programs and laboratory testing investigations.
- Conduct site reconnaissance and execute subsurface investigations to support design work.
- Provide technical support during the construction phase of projects.
- Assist with dam safety inspections and other field evaluations.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
- Domestic travel required (15%).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 215 years of relevant geotechnical experience (Masters counts as 1 year; PhD counts as 2 years).
- Experience with geotechnical analysis software such as GeoStudio STABL SLIDE or LPILE.
- Strong technical writing verbal communication and teamwork skills.
- U.S. employment authorization.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 12 years.
- Masters or PhD with a focus in Geotechnical Engineering.
- Experience with FEM/FDM software such as PLAXIS 3D Midas 3D or FLAC3D.
- Programming or scripting skills for engineering applications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ 60000 - $120000 per year (commensurate with experience)
