We have a customer in Beaverton OR who has an immediate opening for a PCB/Mechanical CAD Designer. If you or any of your friends or colleagues are interested in an qualified for this position please click APPLY NOW.
In this role you will do PCB layout working from schematics provided by company Electrical Engineers. Specifically you will use Altium to do layout of 4 layer PCBs that are mainly low/medium power and some mixed signal A/D. You will take into account optimizing performance and manufacturability and maintain and update existing board designs as addition you will support mechanical engineers using CREO CAD to do updates of mechanical parts models assemblies BOMs etc.
This is a long-term DIRECT HIRE position located in Beaverton OR and must be worked on-site at company facility.
Salary range for this position is in the 65-75K range.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years experience in PCB and mechanical design and drafting
- Experience and proficiency with Altium CAD or similar for PCBs (mainly 4 layer boards low/medium power some mixed signal)
- Experience with CREO or similar CAD (Solidworks/INVENTOR for mechanical parts machined parts sheetmetal assemblies 2D and 3D model updatesBOMs etc.)
- Working knowledge of industry manufacturing principles for PCBs and machined and mechanical sheetmetal parts design/drafting
- Able to schedule plan and prioritize work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
