Shift Schedule:
- full-time employment from November 17th 2025 - March 31st 2026
- ability to stay on and work casually after March 31st 2026
- participate in on-call rotation every third weekend

As a health information specialist your primary responsibilities will include:
- entering physician orders resident data and employee information into the Electronic Health Record in a timely and accurate manner
- working with documentation sheets and maintaining appropriate records lists and reports generated by the system for facility use
- assisting with audits
- maintaining all records in accordance with state and federal regulations
- ensuring integrity privacy and confidentiality of all data
Position Requirements:
- completed coursework in anatomy physiology and medical terminology
- experience with data entry
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- understanding of basic HIPAA practices and the ability to maintain confidentiality of all medical records is necessary
- computer proficiency with the Electronic Health Record system and Microsoft Office products as well as other office equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
- previous health information experience
